How to Register

Recreation Soccer
HSC offers outdoor soccer in the fall and spring for ages U5-U19. Boys and girls play on separate teams – except U19 is Coed. Each season has a separate registration. Age divisions U5-U8 receive participation trophies/medals at the end of the season. Age divisions U10 – U19 receive a player gift and play in an end of year tournament (weather and time permitting) and receive champions or finalists medals.

The "U" stands for "Under".  For example, the U5 is Under 5.  List next to each division number during registration is the birth year for player.

Age Divisions run from Fall to Spring.  Each Fall, the age bracket changes.

All registrations received after the deadline are considered late and will be placed on the waitlist. Play-Up requests will NOT be accepted after the registration deadline. There is no charge to be placed on the waitlist. You must register online. If you have forgotten your login information, please do not create another account. You will lose all of your player's history. Instead contact SportsConnect (866-258-3303) for help.

Cost
U5 – U6 divisions $135
U7 – U19 divisions $145

Late fee $25 (non-refundable)
Sibling discount $10 per additional sibling

Refund Policy
A credit will be given to use towards a future season.  Must cancel registration prior to initial registration closing - $8.50 cancellation fee applies.  No refunds/credit after initial registration closes.

Registration Includes
• 6 games U5/U6, 8 games U7-U19 (minimum of 6 reg season games + tournament)  (weather and time permitting)
• Uniform (jersey, shorts, socks)
• Participation trophy (U5-U8 only), player gift U7-U19
• Champions or finalists medal (top two teams in each age division for U10 and up only)

Waitlist
All registrations received after the deadline are considered late and will be placed on the waitlist. No special requests will be considered during the waitlist period. There is no guarantee that you will be placed on a team. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified via email. Registration costs and fees will be assessed at that time. There is no charge to be placed on the waitlist.

Age Divisions Offered
HSC offers the following outdoor age divisions from U5-U19. Please note some age divisions are combined and offerings can differ from fall to spring or by gender. To determine your player's age division, refer to the Birth Year Matrix 

HSC offers the opportunity to play up one birth year from a player's true age. Please refer to our Play Up Form under the Parents tab for additional information. All players 18 and older are required to complete SafeSport training to be eligible to play. Information on how to complete SafeSport training is available under the Coaches tab.

Practice
All practices are at Drakes Creek Soccer Complex.  Our volunteer coaches choose the time/day of their practices based on field space.  Practices may start up to two weeks before the first game. U5, U6 and U7 will practice 1 time per week.  U8 – U19 will practice 2 times per week. 
Make-Up Practices: Due to the number of teams, practice fields are booked back-to-back throughout the week.

Games
All games are played at the Drakes Creek Soccer Complex. Games are played on Saturdays with the possibility of an occasional Monday or Tuesday night game. If any age division has an odd number of teams, each Saturday one team will have a bye. Saturday games are scheduled starting at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Make-Up Games: The yearly calendar has make-up days built into the season. Make-up games or doubleheaders can be played any day during the week.

Required Equipment
• Soccer cleats (any cleats with the "toe cleat" such as baseball or football cleats are NOT allowed)
• Shin guards (required to participate in practices or games)
• Soccer ball (U5-U8 size 3, U9-U12 size 4, U14-U19 size 5)
• Soccer socks (for practices)

Special Requests
Being the largest sports league in Sumner County, we must limit special requests.  Our division directors try and place siblings on the same practice nights.  While this is not guaranteed, we will try our best.  We also provide the opportunity during registration to request a certain practice night you CANNOT practice.  With the number of teams participating, this is sometimes not possible.  You can also email your DIVISION DIRECTOR any additional requests.

Hendersonville Soccer Club has over 1,000 children playing soccer each season. While we would love to be able to accommodate every request for coaches, teammates, and carpools, it is logistically impossible to do so. Also, due to the size of our club, we cannot take request for specific practice nights. By checking the acceptance box and continuing with registration, you are accepting HSC policy that the ONLY request considered by HSC will be aligning practice nights with siblings, where possible.   No other requests will be considered.

HSC Registration is now handled 100% through our online registration process.  Please follow the steps below to register your player:

Step 1 - Click "LOGIN" (returning users) or "REGISTER" (new users) at the top-right of the home page.

Step 2 - Create a "New Account" (new users)
This will include your username and password for future access to online registration.
This is where you need to enter an email you wish to receive HSC updates on registration, such as reminders or alerts for HSC members.

Step 3 - Enter your "Participant" information (new players)
This will be your player information, and please make sure the birthday is correctly entered to avoid misplacement of your appropriate divisional assignments.

Step 4 - New to HSC click the REGISTER or If your already have an account with us log-in and click MY ACCOUNT link on at the top right of the website Next to Login/Logout.  Only create a new account if you have not done so in the past.

Step 5 - Select each division listed for each player you wish to register, then click 'NEXT'
If you don't see an available selection for your player, registration is either closed or your player's age is not within our league appropriate age bracket.  Please hover over "About Us" and then locate the "Age Divisions" tab to see our age bracket information.

Step 6 - Enter your responses to the registration questions and comments, then click 'NEXT'

Step 7 - For Coaches/Assistant Coaches Only - Enter your volunteer information for the appropriate division(s)

Step 8 - Verify your summary registration page and enter your online payment VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX accepted
